Manual Conversion
Manual conversion involves using a hypertext authoring tool to create nodes and
links manually. Hence, this process depends on the way the author (or the
person who builds the hypertext form from a linear form) understands the
structure and flow of the presented material. Being a repetitive process, it
is prone to human error. There cannot be anything worse than a badly converted
hypertext version of a linear document. Also, manual conversion is suitable
only for small documents.
